Effective Management of 4 well-established fast-food outlets. To manage the entire restaurant team, maintain
operational standards, safe guard restaurant assets. Ensure excellent customer service and compliance with OHS
Act. To ensure that the brand integrity stays intact. Manage staff effectively and ensure proper time
management in all areas.

Education / Experience and Requirements

• Matric/ Grade 12 or equivalent
• Computer literate
• Own / reliable transport
• Previous experience in a QSR (quick service restaurant) environment
• Previous experience in a management environment role

Skills

• Fluency in English / Xhosa proficiency an advantage
• MS Office

Responsibilities

• Conduct shift meetings with team members
• Ensure operational standards and procedures are implemented in the restaurant
• Conduct opening and closing as well as mid morning inspections
• Manage financial procedures of the restaurant (Cash ups, handling floats, banking)
• Conduct weekly evaluations and action plans
• Compile reports re sales turnover, and sales mix
• Manage restaurant stock levels according to laid down procedure (ordering, receiving, stock control and

stock takes) * Motivate and develop team members

• Handling of workplace procedures - Industrial relations
• Provide on job coaching and mentoring of staff to ensure desired skill levels are maintained
• Interface with customers and resolve queries
• Ensure a friendly and hospitable restaurant atmosphere
• Manage by example
• Conduct weekly staff meetings
• Maintain pre-determined Gross Profit margins as per brand standard
• Ensure overall profitability of the store is maintained in line with agreed annual budgets
• Rostering of staff hours
• Ordering of stock and receiving onto the system
• Manage and approve store operating expenses and ensure cost savings are achieved wherever possible
• Ensure store cleanliness, Front of House and Back of House
• Generate reports for Accountant and Management as and when required

Ensure equipment is correctly maintained and functional at all times * Maximise sales through marketing strategies and following brand recommendations
