Position Title: Farmers Administrator: PotatoPosition Type: Temporary - Full-Time xe2x80x8bPosition Location: DelmasGrade: Grade 03Requisition ID: 29344McCain Foods SA is seeking a dedicated Farmers Finance Administrator to join our Finance department at the Delmas Plant. This role is crucial for providing comprehensive financial administrative support to the Agriculture Potatoes function within McCain. The successful candidate will be involved in a wide range of activities, including but not limited to, rendering financial accounting transactions, processing invoices, managing cash collections, performing bookkeeping services, compiling journals, monitoring debtor accounts, and supporting the budget preparation process.Key Responsibilities:

• Execute daily financial transactions, ensure invoices are correct, verified, and approved.
• Efficiently process invoices, capture payments, and maintain meticulous filing of all documents.
• Perform administration support services including the collection of cash and processing adjustments and deductions.
• Monitor and follow up on debtor accounts, clear suspense accounts, and compile necessary journals.
• Provide budget support services by collecting information, comparing expenditure against the budget, and preparing budget documents for Financial Manager approval.
• Play a pivotal role in budgeting, financial planning, risk management, and sustainability reporting for the Agriculture Potatoes sector.
• Directly impact financial strategies related to raw potato intake, ensuring alignment with the company's investment and financial planning.

Scope and Impact:

• Influence budgeting, investment, and financial strategies, managing a financial impact of R700m directly related to Raw Potato intake.
• Responsible for geographic area: Delmas Plant, with substantial financial responsibility in decision-making related to budgeting, risk management, and financial reporting.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Grade 12 (Matric) with Accounting or Mathematics.
• A Diploma in Finance or a related qualification is preferable.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Excel, Word, and SAP ERP Systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and operate with minimal supervision.
