Mardouw Olive Estate, nestled at the foot of the Langeberg Mountains between the charming towns of Robertson and Swellendam, is seeking a passionate and experienced Olive Farm Manager to lead and shape their world-class olive oil production.
As a proud ABSA Top 10 winner for the past 8 years, and recipient of the most SA Olive Awards for the past 3 years, Mardouw is recognised as a leader in South Africas olive industry. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an estate renowned for producing award-winning extra
virgin olive oils.
The successful incumbent will be responsible for (but not limited to): *Optimising production of the olive farm *Planning, organising, and optimising day-to-day farm activities *Leading and inspiring a dedicated farm team *Overseeing every stage of olive production from orchard care to harvest and beyond *Driving quality, sustainability, and innovation in farming practices *Managing budgets, reporting, and compliance with farming standards *All other tasks related to this position.
Essential qualifications, skills & Experience:
A relevant tertiary qualification;
Minimum 7 years relevant experience in olive oil production and orchard management;
Strong leadership and organisational skills;
A results-driven mindset with a passion for agriculture;
Excellent communication skills in Afrikaans & English;
A valid drivers license.
