Job Position: Factory Supervisor Ref: 4596 Location: PE / Gqeberha Salary: R22 000 to R30 000 per month commensurate with qualification and experience including benefits such as Provident fund and medical aid contribution Qualifications / Requirements: Candidate must be prepared to work 2 shifts and overtime if required Diploma in Production Management or equivalent thereof Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience within a manufacturing / automotive environment Own vehicle and valid drivers license Fluent in English and Afrikaans Effective problem-solver Excellent verbal and written communication skills Works well under pressure with goal-orientated approach Technical competencies: - MS Office - Excel - Syspro (highly advantageous) Key Performance Areas: Staff management: - Manage factory staff in terms of normal working hours, overtime and attendance for payroll - Ensure factory staff adhere to the code of conduct and report misconduct to Manager - Assist Quality Systems Administrator with induction training relevant to operations to newly recruited factory staff - Ensure all staff are correctly trained on the specific operation they are required to do - Ensure staff fully understand their work instructions at each workstation and are signed for - Conduct daily morning meetings - Present daily report to Factory Manager on any deviation with time and attendance - Ensure new staff understand the companyxe2x80x99s policies and procedures - Monitor quality and output of all workstations continually daily Production planning: - Print all production documents / labels and issue to all workstations daily - Ensure start-up procedure as to cutting and CNC equipment - Monitor and record all workstations daily production totals / performance as per daily target sheet, report deviations and non-compliance to the Manufacturing Operations Manager - Monitor quality of raw material and report any poor quality products to the Manufacturing Operations Manager - Book poor quality material / products into quarantine store and fill out quarantine report at the end of very week - Email defect report to purchasing / stores so that Syspro could be adjusted accordingly - Constant checking of production rate during the day and report any deviations to Factory Manager Job Type: Full-time Salary: Up to R30,000.00 per month Education:

• Diploma (Preferred)

Experience:

• Production Management: 3 years (Preferred)
• supervisory: 5 years (Preferred)
• manufacturing / automotive environment: 5 years (Preferred)
• Staff management: 5 years (Preferred)
• Production planning: 5 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Own vehicle and valid drivers license (Preferred)
