Job Advert Summary
The Factory Shop Assistant will ensure the smooth running and proper maintenance of the sales floor, to further identify the needs of customers and make suitable recommendations. To ensure that shelves are properly stocked and arranged accordingly.

Minimum Requirements
Grade 12. 2 years relevant experience. Excellent communication skills. Excellent timekeeping skills. Be able to work under pressure. Working overtime when required.

Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain good housekeeping. Responsible to receive all stock from Dispatch. Conducting sales on POS system in absence of shop keeper or shop supervisor. Packing of stock in holding room. Submitting dispatch paperwork every morning to Admin department. Ensure proper health and safety procedures are adhered to. Responsible and accountable for the control and monitoring of all shop equipment, such as the shop trollies. Ensure PPE is worn correctly. Responsible for the safety in and around the factory shop workshop. * Any ad hoc tasks given.
