- Design automation systems & machine layouts in terms of OHS & ergonomics regulations.xe2x80xa2 Management of the automation aspect of the assigned CAPEX project from initiation to handover to the internal customer.xe2x80xa2 Selecting and managing suppliers and contractors. xe2x80xa2 Integrate automation systems including robotic systems with existing infrastructure and other production equipment. xe2x80xa2 Optimize existing automated systems in the factory to improve efficiency, reliability, and scalability.xe2x80xa2 Prepare documentation for automated systems and user manuals and ensure that training for the operators is done by you. xe2x80xa2 Work with cross-functional teams, including quality, maintenance, manufacturing, occupational health and safety, to implement automation systems and best practices. xe2x80xa2 Research, and develop recent technologies and solutions for automation, as well as testing new products that could be used in the current automation systems.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering/ Automation or Process control
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a Factory Automation or similar role
