Facilities Manager

Job Description


We are looking for a highly experienced Facilities Manager to join our team and oversee all maintenance-related services on our client's site. The ideal candidate will advise on strategic direction, maintain relationships with service providers, manage space planning requirements and budgets, coordinate move management services, and oversee upgrade projects and repairs. You will implement maintenance procedures, review policies and ensure compliance, attend after-hour callouts, and issue reports on contractor performance. Additionally, you will draft, implement, and monitor policies and procedures for the department.

Qualifications:

  • Tertiary Diploma or equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical engineering
  • Project Management courses
The ideal candidate should possess excellent general management and interpersonal skills, sound knowledge of maintenance environments, the ability to interpret financial information, and prior experience in comparable FM contracts with proven expertise in policies, procedures, management systems, quality assessment, and health and safety.
