Tsebo Facilities Solution is looking for a Facilities Manager who will be Responsible for the implementation and management of Hotel Building Managers & their engineering response teams to ensure efficient and effective response to requests from Guests and Hotel Management, while maintaining and fostering relationships with Hotel Managers and Guests. Additionally, responsible for supervising and managing all hotel/building managers to ensure operational efficiency, compliance, and consistent service delivery. Develop, implement & maintain systems to be able to determine & benchmark expected response times to service requests & to implement a comprehensive & effective "walk the floor" program at each of the Hotels on the Sun City Resort site.

Duties & Responsibilities
Asset Management
Manage TSEBO Hotel Managers to ensure that they & their teams develop a strong working relationship with their respective Hotel Managers & build strong working relationships with them.
Ensure teams respond rapidly to calls logged and that the Building managers oversee prompt action & keep the Hotel Managers informed. Ensure that open calls to be managed within the agreed SLA at the Hotels & are kept to a minimum & that valid reasons are given for the calls not to be closed in the allotted times & that the Tsebo on site escalation procedures are followed.
Ensure that Building Managers order & manage their stock on a "Just In Time" basis and do regular stock counts as required by Sun City Operations Department. Ensure that the equipment in the Hotels is always maintained correctly.
Ensure Building Managers manage their teams calls outs and preventative maintenance job cards via the onsite Work Place Manager (ONKEY) system on their mobile devices (open and closing calls) and verify that the Building Managers track these on a daily basis.
Ensure calls that cannot be attended to by the hotel teams are redirected to the Complex Engineering teams & follow ups are done by the Building Managers to ensure that calls are closed within the allotted time using the "Touch It Own It" scenario.
Ensure hotel teams and Building Managers maintain all forms of transport and tools in good condition & that their teams are always presentable & polite to the guests. Ensure that workshops & plant rooms in the Hotels are kept in a neat, tidy & presentable state at all times.
Asset Maintenance Planning
Ensure that all Hotel Unit assets are on the planned maintenance service schedule & that these are completed within the planned time frames.
Develop a maintenance strategy for each Hotel Unit
Ensure the Planner allocates calls according to priorities logged.
Ensure the Planner and building managers manage calls and respond accordingly.
Ensure that the Building Managers or their teams close the calls within the allowed time frames.
Hotel Manager and Guest Relations
Maintain relationships with Sun International Hotel General Managers to ensure guest satisfaction. Meet regularly with the General Managers to obtain a look ahead view of upcoming events at the Hotels & produce an action plan ahead of time.
Ensure guest requests are handled promptly and professionally by both TSEBO hotel response teams and hotel/building managers.
Investigate & review plus provide a corrective action plan for the response to guest complaints.
Sub-Contractors
Document & report any underperforming contractors, this information must be shared with the Sun City procurement team so that they are aware of the issues encountered.
Ensure best pricing is achieved for services and involve building managers in cost-saving initiatives.
Ensure that Hotel Teams achieve the required Service Level Agreements as per the Sun International / TSEBO contract agreement.
Mentoring & coaching the Hotel building managers' engagement on sub-contractors to maintain professional service delivery & to ensure delivery outcomes on work are met.
Ensure that work completed is checked by the Hotel Building Managers & that vendors are aware of any issues that are not acceptable & this must be shared with the vendor in writing & that completion certificates are issued once the work has been completed satisfactorily.
Project Management
Assist the client with any project management as required.
Ensure that a detailed Scope Of Works is issued for all major work that is required & train the Hotel Building Managers to be able to produce this & to submit this to you for review & approval before the RFQ is issued.
Ensure regular communication with all stakeholders regarding project progress and potential delays are executed by the Hotel Building Managers.
Document project progress and ensure building managers contribute to ongoing project oversight.
