Job description
Job Objectives:
Effective management of Facilities, Contractors & Service Provider Staff and all resources and aspects relating to these departments at Centurion DC site
Assist implementation of complete safety policies and committees in accordance with OHS Act
Building and maintaining of process and procedures of each role within the department
Ensure functionality of the Distributor and office blocks
To implement a pro-active land and building maintenance program
Ensure accurate and up to date Databases are maintained Continuous improvement of the data captured, stored, and reported.
Ensure that all assets are cleaned and assigned to relevant departments.
Maintain all assets on site and ensure they are in full working condition.
Coordinate site Health & Safety and Compliance audits
Mange site Health and safety compliance
Manage overall Centurion DC site maintenance.
Administration & Management of the Facilities and 4Me for services & facilities; to provide management with effective and accurate reporting.
Effective management and training of the staff
KPA's to be completed for all staff timeously, with indicated needs for training and development, performance management.
Ensure professional and efficient customer contact.
Monthly reports to the Department Head
Present and compile Capex Requests for Centurion DC
Cost Centre accountability and management.

Minimum requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
Grade 12
Tertiary Education in a similar field.
Min 5 years' experience in a managerial position in a distribution centre preferably.
5 Years experience in a Facilities Management Environment preferably
