Job Summary Manage the maintenance and repair of all physical buildings and security measures (Fencing, lighting, doors/locks, etc.) Install and repair any mechanical and electrical equipment where required Compile inspection checklist of all physical infrastructure/equipment and schedule checks as per schedules Liaise with internal customers, stakeholders, and external contractors regarding OHSEQ issues Handle contractors as per Contractor Management Procedure Responsible for the health and safety issues within the facilities Compile routine inspection checklists Liaise with the health and safety committee Ensure neatness of waste area and arrange disposal/removal with waste contractors Plan, guide, and supervise all gardening maintenance and improvements Plan seasonal landscaping activities Monitor the water management system of the garden area Skills & Experience: A seasoned background in electrical manufacturing coupled with at least 2 years of exemplary management experience Demonstrated expertise in plumbing, electrical (lighting), and mechanical (HVAC) systems and equipment Proven track record in maintenance, highlighting essential hands-on experience Prior experience in facilities management would be a distinct advantage Fluent proficiency in both Afrikaans and English languages for seamless verbal, written, and reading communication An innate ability to take initiative and display proactive leadership qualities Qualification: A high school diploma or equivalent (Grade 12) Certification or qualification in Facilities Management will be highly advantageous Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
