SSK currently has the following career opportunity at its Property Maintenance department in Swellendam. We are looking for a dedicated Maintenance Technician who will report to the Maintenance Manager. As the Maintenance Technician, you will be supportive of the daily inspection of buildings and the prompt repair of common defects, such as broken equipment, lights, doors, and windows.
Responsibilities
- Daily inspection of buildings and facilities.
- Repairing broken equipment, lights, doors, windows, etc.
- Daily inspection of tools and completion of inspection reports.
- National Senior Certificate (Grade 12)
- 25 years of experience in Property Maintenance or a similar role.
- Technical training or experience in electrical work, plumbing, construction, carpentry, painting, or general maintenance is an advantage.
- A valid Driver's License (Code 8 or 10) is essential.
- Knowledge of transportable tools and the ability to use equipment safely.
