About the Company The Company runs the worldxe2x80x99s largest retreading facility under one roof, offering turnkey tyre solutions for businesses of any size. The company services the passenger, truck, earthmoving, agriculture, forklift and industrial segments. About the Role A Facilities & Maintenance Manager is required to manage with a dedicated focus the day-to-day maintenance operation in the area of responsibility with his team of foreman and artisans. The role includes prioritising, scheduling, and allocation of maintenance tasks to different departments including a manufacturing area. The maintenance manager is responsible for controlling the approved maintenance budget. Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day maintenance operations with a team of foremen and artisans such as Plumbers, painters etc.
- Prioritising, scheduling, and allocation of maintenance tasks.
- Assist with maintaining and controlling the approved maintenance budget.
- Matric
- Registered electricians would be a distinct advantage.
- Detailed Electrical, plumbing, building and repair knowledge with more than 5 years of experience.
- Proven track record in project management with verifiable references
- Have managed for team for at least 5 years.
- Computer literacy with report writing abilities.
- Own reliable transport xe2x80x93 the ability to travel between premises,
- Strong management / inter personnel skills,
- Hands-on person
