Ford Motor Company of Southern Africa operates a distinguished 24 month Graduate Program, known as the 'Next-Generation Graduate Program' catering to candidates from a range of academic backgrounds, encompassing fields such as Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Mechatronics, Industrial, Metallurgical), Human Resources, Operations, Industrial Design, Supply Chain and Logistics. This program offers a unique opportunity for individuals to acquire indispensable practical experience and professional training. The 'Next-Generation Graduate Program' will offer the successful graduate a permanent placement from the commencement of the program.
Responsibilities:
Rotation between departments
Responsible for running at least 1 departmental project per annum.
Overall Development
Leadership Development
Charity project
Team building & related activities.
Leadership Talks
Regular check-ins and reporting with Manager.
Complete various forms of training based on departmental needs, including but not limited to:
Six Sigma Lean Training
PLC Training
Leadership Development Training
Greenbelt training
8D Training
5 why's
FPS Training
Role specific training (Safety standards; maintenance scheduling etc.)
