Job Description
Job Summary Face Shovel Mechanic needed in the Northern Cape.
Required:
- Earth Moving Equipment Mechanic Trade Certificate. N2 Passed (Diesel Trade Theory subject) Matric/ Grade 12.
- Valid Driverxe2x80x99s License & Own Vehicle.
Salary: R25000 xe2x80x93 R60 000 (Depending on experience).
Experience / Role:
- 3 Years minimum working experience Post Trade on opencast earthmoving equipment.
- 3 Years minimum working experience on Face Shovel Loading Equipment.
- Compliance with all safety regulations as set out in the mines policies.
- Breakdown and planned maintenance.
- Fault-finding.
- Requisition of parts needed.
- Job cards.
- Follow up on breakdowns.
- General tidiness and good housekeeping of site and other areas of responsibility.
- Able to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines as determined by the Supervisor. Basic problem solving & basic self-management skills.
