Job Description
HIRING: Extrusion Operators in Cape Town.Full time, permanent positions.Working on blown film and cast film extrusion lines for the plastics packaging industry.Hourly wage: +R60/hour dependant on experience.Apply online or email us extrusionoperators@gmail.com
- Experience in Blown Film Extrusion and/or Cast Film Extrusion.
- Experience with co-extruded 3-layer and/or 5-layer machines is a plus.
- Experience with lamination films is a plus.
- Will be working as part of a team and must take instruction from Extrusion Supervisor/Team Leader.
- Reliable transport to and from our factory (located in Maitland, Cape Town).
- Code 8 (and/or higher) drivers license is a plus (but not required).
- Experience with driving forklifts is a plus (but not required).
- Ability to work weekly rotating shifts (day shift and night shift).
- Ability to arrive to work on time - time and attendance is critical.
- Ability to read and follow instructions from detailed Job Cards for each extrusion machine.
- Clean extrusion machines where necessary.
- Conduct fault finding exercises on the Companys extrusion machines.
- Monitor the production efficiency of the each extrusion machine by using the Companys internal controls, and ensure that the production efficiency of each machine meets the Companys standards.
- Experience with computers is a plus.
