Unleash your leadership potential in the FMCG production environment! NDC Personnel & Contractors needs an exceptional Extrusion Manager to spearhead our high-performance production team in the Free State, ensuring the delivery of exceptional FMCG maize products that consistently meet stringent quality and cost benchmarks.

Ensure that the extrusion process consistently delivers high-quality products in strict alignment with required specifications. Oversee the efficient management of raw materials and ingredients to achieve cost-effective stock management. Cultivate a competent and targets-driven culture within the production team while ensuring full compliance with statutory and regulatory health, safety, and food safety requirements. Organise personnel training, conduct audits, and promptly address all findings in collaboration with the risk function.

Youll also be responsible for driving best-cost production by meticulously planning, organising, and managing the function in accordance with expense budgets and resource plans. Continuous improvement of the production process and function will be a key focus, along with optimising plant asset management through the implementation of maintenance procedures.

FMCG professionals should have Matric and demonstrate a comprehensive grasp of extrusion operations processes and best practices. If you have additional knowledge of fumigation, that would put you at an advantage! Proficiency in adhering to food safety requirements, particularly FSSC 22000, is essential. A minimum of 5 years relevant experience in a similar role is required, with a (maize) milling background being a valuable asset!
