Are you a driven sales professional with a passion for the building materials industry and exports? Look no further! An innovative manufacturer based in the Johannesburg area of Gauteng is currently seeking an External Sales Representative to join their dynamic team.

As an External Sales Representative, your primary responsibility will be to meet sales targets for their world-class products while expanding their customer base through outstanding service and competitive pricing. In this role, you will interact with traders, indirect export companies, walk in customers, inspectors of institutes. You will have the opportunity to increase market share, enhance customer awareness, and contribute to the overall growth of the company by: providing exceptional customer service; following up on deliveries and addressing any customer concerns; assisting with tender pricing and liaising with traders; analysing customer needs and providing suitable product recommendations; and assisting with monthly materials forecasting.

To exceed in this role youll need your Grade 12 certificate, 5+ years experience as a sales representative (technical sales experience preferred) the relevant technical tertiary qualification (e.g., engineering) is advantageous.

Youll also need to bring your excellent interpersonal and communication skills; strong knowledge of structural drawings and deep understanding of the building/construction industry; the ability to work independently and thrive under pressure, and the willingness to travel extensively.
