A dynamic company based in KwaZulu Natal is looking for an External Sales Representative (Cardiology)

Duties:

• This position is for the sale of Cardiology Medical Devices
• To promote and sell medical products and services to existing and developing markets
• Will be covering the KwaZulu Natal region
• Reporting to the National Sales Manager
• Not overseeing any staff
• Responsible for building and maintaining effective and positive relationships with all stakeholders
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales against budget set for territory
• Track daily sales for territory
• Update and submit account plans as required
• Assist managers in developing strategies per market segment e.g., hospital groups, public sector, and tenders
• Submit weekly report to managers
• Submit monthly expenses reports to bookkeeper
• Interventional Cardiology and TAVI
• Manage own budget expenses as set out for the territory
• Implement promotional campaigns as set out by the manager
• Implement new product launch plan
• Ensure effective stock management at hospitals, including movement, uplift and setting of stock levels
• Ensure minimum expiries of stock by effective management of same
• Comply with all legal requirements
• Expensive national travel will be expected
• Recommendations of new products to HOD
• Resolve any conflict situation in territory or among team as applicable
• Ensure required temperature ranges within product portfolio

Requirements:

• Must reside in KwaZulu Natal
• Must be medically fit to work
• Must come from a Medical sales background
• Relevant medical qualification, degree or diploma will be an advantage (with sterile field)
• Minimum 5 years experience in medical sales environment
• Must know how to scrub in to a surgery (essential)
• English speaking
• Own vehicle and valid drivers license (essential)
• (M F) 08:00 17:00 / Must be able to work flexible hours due to client requirements
