We are looking for an experienced external sales representative to grow our footprint in the wholesale and retail environment, while also targeting a portfolio of selected clients in the panel building, original equipment, and genset sectors. The incumbent should have extensive experience in the panel electrical wholesale industry and have first-hand knowledge of low-voltage switchgear and motor-control brands. Experience in the electrical industry is a must with in-depth knowledge of MCB, MCCB, MCM, panel boards and understands cascading principles, etc.
Minimum Qualifications
- Grade 12 essential
- Relevant Tertiary qualification, advantageous.
- Minimum 5 10 years experience in the low-voltage electrical sector
- Valid SA Drivers License
- Advanced LV Product Knowledge
- Computer Literacy (Gmail, Google Docs)
- Ability to Close a Deal
- Exposure to diversity
- Strong EQ
- Sales Administration Capability
- Manage customer complaints professionally
- Must have an existing established network of contacts among, panel builders, consulting engineers/municipality engineers/Eskom engineers/industry clients, etc.
