Job Advert Summary
Eduvos is seeking to appoint Independent Contractors to assist with online marking responsibilities across various modules in the Humanities Faculty on a part-time contractual basis.

Remuneration & Training:

  • Payment is based on the number of scripts marked, according to a sliding scale based on module level (Level 1, 2, or 3).
  • Training will be provided to ensure consistency and adherence to marking standards.

Minimum Requirements
Requirements:
  • Qualification: Relevant Honors qualification in the field of Humanities (Perferrably in Industrial Psychology; Social Sciences; Psychology and Linguistics), as per the specific subject matter areas to be graded listed below
  • Relevant subject knowledge in Humanities.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure fair and consistent assessment.
  • Computer literacy (essential for online marking and administrative tasks).
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines (non-negotiable).
  • Team player mindset with good communication skills.
  • Hybrid work agreement will be dependent on subject allocations - external markers may be required to collect / mark paper-based assessments at the allocated Eduvos campus
Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
  • Marking online scripts via the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Accurately recording and submitting marks on the LMS.
Geographically Restricted Modules (Paper-Based or Online Marking):
The following modules will require online marking:
  • Industrial Psychology 1B
  • Abnormal Behaviour 3B
  • Cultural Studies
  • Personalities Theory 2B
  • Linguistics 1B
Timelines :
  • Application Deadline: 23 October 2025
  • Training Completed By: 14 November 2025 (Mandatory)
  • Summative Assessments Start : 18 November 2025
