We're looking for an experienced
External Commercial Sales Representative
to join our Durban team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a field-based, business development-focused role. If you're driven to build new relationships, close deals, and contribute to our growth, we want you on our team!
Duties and responsibilities:
Business Development:
Take the lead in identifying and securing new commercial clients in industries like transport, logistics, engineering, and more. You'll actively drive business growth by uncovering new opportunities.
External Sales:
Spend your time in the field, meeting with decision-makers and presenting Cartrack's fleet management and telematics solutions as business-critical tools for success.
Own the Sales Process:
From lead generation to closing, you'll manage the full sales cycle and ensure every opportunity is maximized.
Build Strong Relationships:
Develop and nurture long-term relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers, providing tailored solutions to meet their needs.
Collaborate Across Teams:
Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing client satisfaction.
Market Awareness
: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor strategies to stay ahead of the curve and refine your approach.
Minimum requirements:
3-5 years in B2B external sales or business development, with a proven track record of generating new business and solution-based selling.
Industry Knowledge: Experience in SaaS, telematics, or related sectors such as transport, logistics, or engineering is a plus, but not essential.
Sales & Networking Skills: You're skilled in cold-calling, building relationships, and converting leads into loyal customers.
Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using CRM tools to manage your pipeline and track client interactions.
Self-Driven & Independent: You thrive working autonomously in a fast-paced, field-based role, and you're motivated by achieving sales targets.
