Job Description

Minimum requirements:
The following are non-negotiable:

3-5 Years experience in Agriculture (Horticulture specific even better)
(Bonus: previous experience in the African Agriculture Market)
Minimum 5 years of experience in Export Sales (African Market).
Strong knowledge of the Agriculture and/or Horticulture industry
Fluent in Afrikaans & English (both spoken and written)
Willingness to travel extensively across Africa.

Requirements:
Develop and expand export sales in the African market.
Build and maintain relationships with distributors, retailers, and clients.
Conduct market research and identify new business opportunities.
Negotiate and close sales deals to meet company targets.
Travel across Africa for business development (when not traveling, work from Head Office in Johannesburg).
Provide sales reports, forecasts, and analysis.
