Job Description
ASARA Wine Estate & Hotel (Pty) Ltd in Stellenbosch, Western Cape is looking for a dynamic, competent and self-motivated team player with excellent communication, time-management, planning & organisational skills. The ideal candidate has the ability to multitask and work accurately under pressure.
The position requires excellent logistical & communication skills (Afrikaans & English) to liaise with suppliers, shipping agents & overseas clients.
DUTIES
will include (but not be limited to):Export sales orders acceptance & communication with local & international clients - logistics of export orders - thorough communication of bottling specifications & customer requirements - dry stock management - all aspects regarding the handling of export documentation - receiving & processing of orders - understanding of SAWIS/Customs - all other logistics, sales & export tasks associated with the position
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCES
:- Matric required, a relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role relating to an exports, logistics or sales & procurement environment
- Knowledge of SAWIS & compliance regulations
- Excellent computer literacy (Ezy Wine, MS Office, specifically Microsoft Excel)
- Experience in workflow designs or creation of a logistics system or process would be advantageous
- Own reliable transport
- Forklift & Truck license beneficial
