Job Description
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent.
- Magazine Master Certificate.
- Commercial Explosives System (CES).
- Explosives or Blasting Technology Certificate.
- Explosives Ordinance Course (Mod A & B).
- Explosive Control Course certificate.
- Registered with the CIE.
- Valid Drivers License.
- Minimum 5-8 years experience in Explosive Management and Control for an Underground Mine.
- Experience in Policy Clearance Certificates.
- Experience in developing and implementing policies, SOPs, and COPs.
- Underground experience
- English: Fully Proficient.
- Sepedi: Fully Proficient advantageous.
- Fanakalo: Fully Proficient advantageous.
- Explosives in the Mining Industry.
- Explosive Act 1952, regulations 6, 7, 8 and 9.
- Mine Health and Safety Act, 29 of 1996.
- Able to assess work team and training requirements and implement programme/s for development.
- Developing & drafting policies, SOPs, and COPs.
