Our client who works in the medico-legal industry is looking for an Expert Liaison to join their team. The expert liaison will be responsible for the timely coordination and tracking of Specialist production. This includes but is not limited to Patient Days, Medical Legal Reports, Joint Minutes, Addendums and Reassessments.
Duties and responsibilities:
Act as a Production Coordinator:
1. Submission of 10 Medical Legal reports to experts per month.
2. The tracking of expert production.
3. The coordination of patient days.
4. The distribution of work to Medical Administrators and experts.
5. Informing manager of necessary and consistent changes for training purposes.
6. Responsible for giving knowledge for the training of Medical Legal report typing.
7. Coordinating with the experts to assure that patientsxe2x80x99 gets good quality service in the quickest way.
8. Coordinating with the experts to assure that the reports are of good quality.
9. Coordinating with experts about their capacity, availability and leave and relaying the information to the case management department.
10. Coordinating with the acadamy to ensure reports are done accurately.
11. Following all instructions from the Overseer.
12. Assisting on a patient day in any way necessary.
13. Maintaining a seven-day turnaround time in production.
14. Keeping experts informed of work needing completion.
15. Communicating delays in the production of reports to the relevant case managers
16. Resolving queries related to the specific liaising expert.
Measurement of performance:
1. The tracking of daily, weekly and monthly production.
2. The upkeep and updating of a systematic spreadsheet.
3. Making sure that deadlines for reports are met in conjunction with the overseer.
4. Reporting directly to the overseer.
5. Accurate and updated timesheets uploaded every day by close of business.
6. Making sure that deadlines for reports are met.
7. Weekly statistics on the amount of reports finalized, reports still outstanding and upcoming assessments to be uploaded and sent to Managers at 09:00 every Thursday.
8. Ensuring the tracking program is updated with accurate information
9. Sending outstanding lists to experts every Thursday after the Liaisons meeting ensuring the expert is aware of the priority reports required for the next week.
10. Weekly feedback to the overseer and the case managers in the Liaisons meeting on the expert/department and what is required to improve production
Act in the capacity of a Representative:
1. Manage all relationships with all employees and customers, with consideration of company policies and good work ethics.
2. All activities required to fill the role of representing the company
3. Implement and maintain systems and procedures where necessary.
4. Ensuring quality of work.
5. Supporting the team and associated Doctors where necessary.
6. Attend meetings if required and providing reports on work as may be required.
7. Attend to any work-related request from the Patient/Doctor/company/Manager/Staff member as required.
