Job Description
Established Design Studio seeking a QUALIFIED or EXPERIENCED Sample Seamstress or Dressmaker to join their dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
Expertly construct high-end bridal gowns, evening wear (Corsetry) & high-end Ready-to-wear (Tailoring). Work with delicate and luxurious fabrics like linen, satin, chiffon, lace, and tulle. Collaborate closely with our design team to bring couture creations to life. Maintain quality control standards, ensuring impeccable fit and finish.
Requirements & skills:
Full time position 5+ years of experience in bridal, evening wear (Corsetry), high-end ready to wear (Tailoring). Proficiency in working with delicate fabric and able to drape, pleat, and do intricate stitching. Advanced garment construction and tailoring skills. Keen attention to detail, with a focus on precision and quality. Strong understanding of garment fitting and alterations. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high standards. Problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work extended hours when needed. Teamplayer
