Powder Coater

Key Roles & Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the end-to-end coating process, ensuring all jobs meet strict specifications regarding thickness and finish.

Your daily duties will include:

Preparation & Setup:

Reviewing work orders for specifications and preparing powder coating guns, booths, and ovens for use.

Application:

Operating electrostatic powder coating equipment to apply consistent finishes to alu profiles and handles.

Jigging & Hanging:

Assessing object size and quantities to create and set up the correct jigs for optimal coverage and consistency of coatings

Maintenance:

Cleaning guns, checking filters, and performing basic repairs on equipment to ensure downtime is minimized.

Quality Control:

Conducting visual inspections and thickness tests on finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.

Inventory:

Maintaining powder stock levels and recording usage.

Training:

Teaching new staff how to use equipment safely and effectively.
