Hospitality and Outdoor- New Vacancy- Executive Housekeeper Large Luxury Lodge- Kruger Park A large busy safari property in the heart of Kruger park is looking for a well experienced and energetic Executive Housekeeper who has managed luxury properties in excess of 100 rooms before.
Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 yearsxe2x80x99 Hospitality experience in a similar position (luxury property/establishment)
  • Proven track record with references of housekeeping career
  • Computer literate (MS Office/ Stock systems)
  • Financial acumen to understand and manage the housekeeping budgeting and forecasting
  • Excellent command of the English Language (verbal & written)
  • Excellent knowledge of Housekeeping, Laundry and Public Area Service procedures.
  • Excellent knowledge of stock procedures, PAR levels and control.
  • Sound knowledge of product and supply
  • Excellent knowledge of hygiene procedures and products.
  • Solid work history in remote areas
  • Professional and well groomed- Guest Centric as it is a very interactive environment
  • SA Citizens preferable

Description
  • Complete management of the Housekeeping function
  • Complete HR function of the Housekeeping department
  • Very detail xe2x80x93oriented- hands on with daily checks and procedures for exceptional service
  • Good planning and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated, organized and disciplined work ethics
  • Ensure all equipment and linen are maintained and inspected consistently for any wear and tear
  • Ensure all guest rooms are cleaned and prepared to the highest standard, maintain cleanliness of all vacant rooms daily to the property and company standard.
  • Safekeeping and monitoring of laundry and housekeeping equipment daily
  • Ensure all information available on guests are collected and communicated prior to arrival.
  • To set annual operating targets, which will form part of the propertyxe2x80x99s annual business plan.
  • To manage and monitor all costs and implement measures to control them.
  • To monitor and train, review, and implement performance standards to establish and maintain a streamlined and efficient operations.
  • To ensure consistent and planned maintenance and trouble-shoot any issues to operations before they become a problem
  • To ensure that departmental operations and training manuals are prepared and updated.
