Our client, based in Durbanville, is seeking a Home Manager to take charge of their household and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. If you have a knack for organization, a passion for cooking, and a willingness to assist with various tasks, this role might be perfect for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing housekeepers, groundskeepers, and maintenance staff to maintain a well-kept home.
- Preparing delicious and nutritious meals for the family.
- Occasional assistance with weekend functions.
- Transporting an elderly family member to appointments once a week.
- Handling grocery shopping and running errands.
- Managing appointments, including doctor's appointments, flight bookings, and reservations.
- Providing transportation for the family's child as needed.
- Performing other driving and ad hoc duties as required.
- Sleeping in at home when the family is out of town to ensure security.
- Valid driver's license.
- Exceptional cooking skills.
- Proactive and organized with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage household staff effectively.
- Flexibility to assist with various tasks as needed.
- Respect for privacy and confidentiality.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Prior experience in a similar role is a plus.
