Job Description

Role Overview:You will be accountable to the Board for implementing the agreed-upon Company strategy. Actively maintain a high-level view of the investment markets to provide strategic input to the Board, retain existing clients, grow market share and foster a culture of excellence in service quality.Key Performance Areas:Business Plans & Budgets

• Strategy Development to grow the business significantly over the next three to five years.
• Prepare Annual Business Plan and Budget for adoption by the Board.
• Monitor Company Performance against Business Plan and Budget

Finance/Accounting/Administration

• Oversee the administration of Retirement Funds under management
• Ensure Administration, Consulting and Asset Consulting ranks high against the leaders in the market.
• Manage Finances through the control of the Financial Administrator.
• Ensure the timely production of Monthly Management Accounts and Annual Financial Statements.

Client Management

• Maintain relationships with existing clients.
• Constantly explore innovations to provide a competitive edge that will secure new clients and retain existing clients.
• Provide Asset Consulting to clients to ensure the correct Asset Liability Profile.
• Advise clients, generally, on tax implications.

Business Development

• Carry out appropriate market research to identify potential corporate and HNW clients.
• Prepare and deliver proposals to target clients.
• Assist with the acquisition of the administration, consulting and asset consulting appointments to retirement funds.

Products & Investments

• Stay abreast of investment markets by attending presentations by Asset Managers.
• Maintain knowledge of financial products available to corporate and individual clients.
• Monitor the performance of Asset Managers relative to their investment mandates.
• Present investment opportunities and related analysis to Corporate and High Net Worth (HNW) clients

Requirements and skills

• Degree/Post Graduate Degree in - Finance, Actuarial, Statistics, Econometrics or Maths
• CFA licence advantageous
• 10 +years of industry-related experience (Retirement Fund, Asset Consulting and Financial Services).
• Broad knowledge of tax.
• Proven ability of winning new clients
