Job Summary A 5* luxury lodge with 50 rooms, restaurant and spa, seeks an experienced Executive Chef meeting the following specifications:- o Tertiary qualification o Minimum 3 years experience as Executive Chef in 4 or 5 * lodges or boutique hotel operations with over 30 rooms o Good kitchen organisational skills and able to manage the kitchen staff o Creative with regards to menu planning, menu plating, kitchen organisation o Responsible for stock room, stock orders & stock takes and trips to town to collect orders o Must be able to use excel for stock control. o Only candidates with a stable track record will be consider o Drivers licence essential; own vehicle preferred interview will take place at the lodge with a cook-off - 2 hours from Johannesburg. An UPDATED & detailed CV in MS Word format (starting with current position) is required and food portfolio, as well as a Recent head & shoulders photo, taken in the last 6 months.
