Role Purpose
To drive strategic alignment, operational excellence, and cross-functional coordination within the Digital & Technology Function ensuring that we are enabling the delivery of the Group, broader technology and functional strategies and specifically our applicable objectives and key results. This role will partner closely with the functional leadership team, and specifically with the Project Management Office, Human Capital, Group Finance, and other key stakeholders to translate digital initiatives into measurable outcomes, while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and purpose.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field (MBA or MSc preferred).
8-10 years of experience in business management, with a strong focus on digital strategy and transformation.
Proven experience in cross-functional coordination and executive-level reporting.
Duties & Responsibilities
Strategy Execution & Initiative Tracking
Align GDT strategy to execution by coordinating activities across teams.
Partner with the PMO to track initiatives, milestones, and measurable outcomes.
Collaborate with business unit CIO/CTO to align Group requirements and potential technology initiatives with business objectives and delivery plans.
Ensure accurate translation of deliverables into Group Finance performance tracking systems.
Prepare narratives and insights for quarterly performance discussions with the CFO.
Act as the point of contact for relevant stakeholders and be responsible for strategic communications and executive reporting and strategic presentations such as:
+ Monthly Technology Updates to IT and Group Exco's
+ CEO Report
+ Strategic Business Review presentations
+ Quarterly Risk and Capital Committee presentations and reports
+ Board presentations
Operational Rhythm & Team Engagement
Facilitate weekly standups and initiative check-ins across GDT teams.
Maintain visibility into initiative progress and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
Support orchestration, and potentially drive delivery, of strategic initiatives and special projects that fall outside specific team mandates.
Stay abreast of trends, best practices and future considerations in the field of Digital and Technology and report these back to the GDTO on a regular basis
Communicate digital strategies and progress to internal and external stakeholders.
Foster cross-functional collaboration to support digital initiatives.
Talent, Culture & Communication
Champion GDT culture and purpose-driven engagement through:
+ All Minds sessions
+ Team communications and storytelling
Collaborate with HC on:
+ Talent succession planning
+ Churn modeling and replacement strategies
+ Alignment with EE/Transformation targets
+ Promote a culture of innovation, agility, and continuous learning.
+ Lead change management efforts related to digital adoption.
Risk & Compliance Alignment
Work with the CRO to align messaging and progress on compliance targets.
Support preparations for Board Risk Committee engagements by gathering related information from the teams, ensuring consistency and a polished deck to present
ESG & Social Impact Integration
Align IT initiatives with ESG goals, including:
+ Emissions tracking from cloud initiatives
+ Reporting on digital benefits
Support social initiatives such as contributions to the Momentum Foundation.
Executive Support & Thought Partnership
Assist in preparing for media and speaking engagements.
Act as a sounding board for idea development and narrative refinement.
