A senior leadership role accountable for driving growth, revenue, and market positioning. The Executive leads integrated sales, marketing, and product development strategies that expand market share, strengthen brand equity, and convert leads into long-term client relationships.

Drive Revenue and Sales Growth



Develop and implement Business Development, Sales & Marketing Strategy. Manage Business Development, Sales & Marketing Teams. Grow Revenue & Market Share. Business to Business Sales and Marketing experience. Reporting, Data, and Insights. Personally lead key sales opportunities and major negotiations, demonstrating best practice selling from first meeting to deal close.

Build Brand Awareness and Lead Generation



Develop Brand Strategy & Messaging. Generate Qualified Leads. Drive Market Awareness & Thought Leadership. Use data-driven marketing to improve lead quality, conversion rates, and customer acquisition cost (CAC). Build industry presence through thought leadership, media engagement, and partnerships with influencers.

Business Strategy and Leadership



Lead and provide guidance to the Board in the development of the business strategy specifically as it pertains to business development, sales and marketing efforts. Develop, direct and implement business development, sales and marketing strategies incorporating interrelationships between corporate, business, partners and sales/marketing. Prepare insightful business development, sales and marketing reports and agenda packs for EXCO and Board meetings. Influence business decisions on business development, sales and marketing by participating in the various EXCO/Board forums and leading relevant discussions. Guide and mentor line managers and staff members on sound business development, sales and marketing practices and principles. Provide support/ advice to the client facing teams on client strategies as it pertains to business development, sales and marketing. Lead and manage mitigation of risks within the area of responsibility and broader business. Oversee and direct the compilation and spending of the business development, sales and marketing budget. Participate in the overall business strategy development and execution. Drive pricing strategy and lead new product development and value proposition in the organization.

Drive Business Development and Sales strategy design and implementation



Develop and implement a comprehensive business development and sales strategy to drive revenue growth and profitability achieving revenue targets and expanding the company's reach within the market. Conduct market research and analysis to identify target markets, customer needs, and competitor threats. Develop and manage marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital marketing, social media, content marketing, and public relations. Oversee the development of marketing materials and collateral. Develop pricing strategies. Develop and nurture relationships with potential and existing clients. Build and maintain relationships with key partners and distributors. Analyze business development, sales and marketing data to measure performance and identify areas for improvement. Qualify new leads through various channels (cold calling, email outreach, networking events, etc.). Deliver engaging presentations and product demonstrations to highlight value. Negotiate contracts and pricing to close deals. Manage and track business development and sales opportunities through the business development funnel. Lead sales efforts from the front. Build and maintain relationships with clients, funders, industry leaders, and policymakers to strengthen market position. Represent the organisation at industry events, conferences, and strategic forums. Collaborate with internal teams to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions that meet client needs. Prepare and maintain accurate sales reports. Exceed assigned sales targets and quotas. Stay up to date on industry trends, best practices and competitor offerings. Conduct in-depth consultations to understand client needs and challenges. Negotiate and close deals, ensuring profitability for the company. Prepare and deliver sales reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement. Maintain accurate records in relevant systems. Participate in sales meetings and training sessions.

Marketing, brand awareness and lead generation



Marketing strategy development and implementation Build brand to increase the organisation reach, reputation and influence and regularly provide feedback on brand presence and sentiment. Strong focus on in-bound lead generation and measuring results through the funnel. Strengthen lead generation KPIs focusing on how effectively the company marketing efforts convert client interests into potential customers, including Conversions, Lead Quality, CPL, and CPA. Develop nurture journeys for potential clients.

Business Development and Marketing



Develop and implement the business development strategies as it pertain to sales and marketing (through-the-line marketing). Lead the delivery of new social impact solutions and products, including the Report to Society, brochures, credentials, thought leadership products and other marketing tools. Provide executive oversight of the development of business development proposals. Drive the improvement of internal processes. Lead the assessment of alternative business models, including the most effective ways of selling the company's products/services to customers. Lead the development and implementation of marketing strategies and plans to support business development and recognition as an industry thought leader. Identify organisational growth initiatives regarding market and target customer segments and the potential to meet clients' needs. Actively engaging with and developing customer engagement systems to augment client services and retain clients. Market research and implementation of customer feedback to enhance offerings and marketing strategies. Understanding customer behaviour, predicting trends and segmenting markets to create personas that inform GTM strategies.

Stakeholder Engagement and Management



Participate in the development of client relationship management strategies, implementation plans and the ongoing management thereof. Assist with maintaining strategic customer relationships, addressing issues, and resolving them within SLA. Build mutually beneficial and resilient relationships with clients and stakeholders that support long-term business sustainability. Build the company's credibility and reputation in the industry through conducting presentations, networking with key industry players, publishing articles and engaging in industry debates and discussions on social investment and fund management. Influence identified industry players and legislators to build an environment that supports the company and its clients.
