Role Purpose

The role of EA is crucial to ensure that the CEO: Momentum Investments are set up for success. This role will support the CEO in all forums and engagements so that actions that stem from these are seen through to execution.
Requirements

Qualifications, Experience and Knowledge

  • Com Degree.
  • Com Honours (preferred).
  • Experience in client service would be a benefit.
  • Experience in managing projects would be beneficial.
  • 3 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in Financial Services, ideally in Momentum Investments.
  • Ability to convert notes/briefs into presentations with the core information required.
  • Familiar with social media and ability to professionally respond on posts.
Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities and work outputs
  • Assisting with the logistics and meeting arrangements of and attending all relevant engagements with the CEO: Momentum Investments to ensure appropriate notes are taken and that actions agreed in these engagements are tracked and delivered.
  • Managing the relationships and expectations by developing partnerships that will keep all stakeholders informed.
  • Managing the media profile of the Momentum Investments: CEO and to act as a media contact in partnership with Marketing, to optimise public relations opportunities and exposure.
  • Tracking projects that support the realisation of the organizationxe2x80x99s strategic plans. The role of the EA will be to ensure that the CEO: Momentum Investments is kept up to date of progress and concerns to ensure these projects are tracking as planned and delivered successfully.
  • Supporting the CEO: Momentum Investments to effectively align time and focus across Momentum Investments to meet multiple stakeholder and business needs.
  • Assisting with driving the resolution of issues on behalf of the CEO where required.
  • Provide and support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders.
  • Keeping abreast with key developments within the investment management industry to ensure the CEO is kept abreast of what is happening in the industry.
  • Tracking, controlling and influencing business activities with the specific aim to increase and improve operational service & efficiencies.
  • Fostering collaboration through engagement with key stakeholders in order to enable delivery of key strategic and operational project outcomes in support of the CEO. This includes the identification and reporting of any significant performance issues to assist in resolving those. This means one would need to stay close to stakeholders and understanding the strategy and actions to deliver these.
  • Conducting regular engagement with stakeholders in order to cascade information where required.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders in order to engage on behalf of the CEO: Momentum Investments where and when required.
  • Participating and contributing to a culture which builds rewarding relationships, facilitates feedback and provides exceptional client service. This role is an extension of the CEO and therefore it is important to act and behave in a way that is in line with the values the CEO: Momentum Investments is driving.
  • Being an ambassador of the CEO office and demonstrate exemplary behaviour, through personal involvement, commitment and dedication in support of organisational values.
  • Encouraging innovation, change agility and collaboration within the team.
  • Managing financial and other company resources under their control with due respect.
  • Building all presentations on behalf of CEO: Momentum Investments in line with requirements.
