VeslSIM is a mobile connectivity startup, helping connect seafarers and permanent travellers, specifically in the yachting industry through mobile phone plans. We provide coverage around the world to simplify living and working overseas, offering a number of plans via both eSIM and physical SIM that include Data, Calls, and SMS, supported via a range of phone numbers (UK/USA/Canada/Australia/Sweden).
We are a UK based company, but operate globally, with our Director residing in South Africa. We are looking to hire someone on a self-employed basis, but as a full time role. Attributes we are looking for:
Fluent English Speaker
Computer and technology literate
Ambitious
Pragmatic
Interested to learn, develop, evolve, and shadow the Director as the company grows
Your duties and role will be varied, but key tasks will include:
Delivering a high level of customer service via our support chat to our customers
Managing and maintaining a range of platforms which run the core of our business (training will be provided)
General support and administration
Communicating with our partners and suppliers to ensure optimum service delivery
Offering sales and marketing support
The role is fully remote, so a suitable PC/computer and reliable internet connection are required. Someone based in Garden Route is preferred (but not required).
