Our client in the telecommunications industry is currently looking for an Exchange Specialist to join their Infrastructure team in Johannesburg.

Responsibilities:

• Installation and configuration of Exchange Server.
• Daily Exchange health checks, example verification that the DAG is functioning.
• Daily Mimecast health checks.
• Replacement of expiring certificates for the Exchange environment.
• Exchange Free/Busy implementation and maintenance to allow visibility to the rest of the company.
• Management and support of Microsoft email system configurations.
• Configuration and maintenance of Outlook Web Access routing topologies.
• Configuration and maintenance of Exchange routing topologies.
• Configuration and maintenance of Journaling configuration.
• Implementation and maintenance of messaging system policies with xe2x80x9cDeleted Item Retentionxe2x80x9d and xe2x80x9cDeleted Mailbox Retentionxe2x80x9d.
• Configuration and maintenance of internal routing groups for Exchange.
• Configuration and maintenance of the automated directory and address list replication.
• Monthly reporting on Mailbox Data and Mimecast Data.
• Related incident resolution to ensure that Exchange services are restored as quickly as possible.
• Installation and configuration of the Exchange Server.
• Daily Exchange health checks, for example verification that the DAG is functioning.
• Daily Mimecast health checks.

• Previous participation in migration projects for mail servers.
• Installing and configuring Exchange servers.
• Previous experience in a large environment and good knowledge of Scripting PowerShell.
• Platform administration SharePoint and O365.
• Experience providing archive solutions for Enterprises.
• Administration of other Windows servers.
• IT Diploma
• Grade 12
• MCSA
• MCSE
• CCNA
• O365
• ITIL is advantageous.

• R25 000 - 30 000 CTC per month
