- Location: Selby, Johannesburg
- Salary: R15 000 to R40 000 epending on experience
This is a full-time, on-the-ground role based in Selby, Johannesburg, with regular travel across Gauteng and occasional national travel. Expect long hours, late nights, and massive rewards if you've got the hustle and heart for it.
Job details
- Manage end-to-end event setup and execution mobile bars, teams, stock, and gear
- Lead teams of bar staff and runners on-site with confidence and efficiency
- Handle event prep at the warehouse and travel to venues for setup and pack-down
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and venues to ensure flawless service
- Ensure compliance with safety, licensing, and operational standards
- Complete post-event reporting, stock reconciliation, and team feedback
- 2+ years experience in events, hospitality, logistics, or bar operations
- Own reliable car & valid drivers license (non-negotiable)
- Strong leadership skills able to manage teams under pressure
- Comfortable working weekends, evenings, and extended travel periods
- Confident on MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience in stadiums or large-scale events is a big plus
- High levels of initiative, grit, and accountability
- Self-motivated, trustworthy, and able to run with minimal supervision
- Organised but adaptable, cool head in chaotic situations
- Fast on their feet, great with people, and ready to lead from the front
- Not afraid to get hands dirty, this is not a clipboard job
