The role
This exciting opportunity is available in our Corporate Communications Department at Head Office in Cape Town to fulfil a vacancy for temporary opportunity for an Events Co-Ordinator for a period of 6 months.
We require the skills of an individual who has a passion for events management on a national and regional level.
What will make you successful in this role?

  • Complete coordination and management of all events
  • Post event feedback surveys
  • Budget management for the event
  • Brand awareness and visibility
  • Taking briefs from internal clients & stakeholders
  • Liaising with various suppliers - venues, technical, gifting, caterers, decor etc
  • Briefing the Design Hub on all creative elements for events - invitations, menus, nametags
Qualification and experience
  • Matric
  • Diploma in Events / PR / Marketing / Communications is highly desirable
  • 10 years + experience in Events Coordination or a similar role
Knowledge
  • Computer literate (MS Office package)
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Solid understanding of events processes, protocol and legalities
