Job Description
Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Events & Community Engagement Coordinator who can help plan and run community events, school visits, open days, volunteer programmes, and small markets.
Responsibilities:
Plan and coordinate events (school tours, gardening workshops, community days) Recruit and manage volunteers Communicate with schools, partners, and community organisations Handle logistics (set-up, materials, scheduling) Create basic promotional content for events Support revenue-generating events and activities
Requirements:
Strong organisational and communication skills Experience with event planning (formal or informal) Comfortable engaging with children, teachers, and the public Ability to work independently and be on-site when needed Passion for community development
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: R500,00 - R15000,00 per month
Expected hours: 10 per week
Work Location: Remote
