ABOUT THE ROLEWe are looking for a highly self-motivated, problem solver and dynamic team member with a great sense of responsibility to support the Career Services & Employer Relations team within the HyperionDev Graduate Outcomes Department. You should have excellent business acumen, high standards, the ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders, and love organising unique but professional events.This team member will support the departments with the planning, coordination and execution of events hosted for HyperionDev's Commercial & University Partners' bootcamp learners & graduates.This is a high exposure position that requires independent thinking, self-discipline and professionalism. The Events and Communications Coordinator will be responsible for all aspects of event organisation - including initiating ideas/ concepts, assembling of an events calendar, sourcing hosts for some of the events, liaising with the marketing department on event briefs, designs of invites, budgeting, stakeholder communication and invitations, reporting, travel arrangements and scheduling on platforms used to host the virtual events. Organising virtual events on hosting platforms such as YouTube streaming, Facebook Live, Zoom Webinars etc. This person should also focus on outreach specific to finding new, engaging event speakers, companies and relevant event topics.In addition, they will be in charge of the stakeholder communications, including social media on Alumni LinkedIn page, other learner communication platforms, mass mailing and other campaigns. This person would likely help scale our processes here even more, build event content, vet new tools/platforms and collaborate with the Alumni coordinator on Alumni related events & communications.
