Job Description

What Youll Do

  • Plan, coordinate, and manage bespoke events, retreats, and banquets that connect guests with nature, community, and culture.
  • Oversee event logistics end-to-end, from concept and menu design to decor, guest flow, and on-site execution.
  • Collaborate with culinary and operations teams to deliver beautifully balanced dining experiences using local, artisanal, and garden-grown produce.
  • Maintain seamless communication with clients, ensuring every event reflects excellence, authenticity, and attention to detail.
  • Lead and inspire an events service team to deliver warm, polished, and professional hospitality.
What You Bring
  • South African citizen or valid work permit holder.
  • At least 35 years of event or banqueting management experience within a luxury lodge, boutique hotel, or nature-based retreat environment.
  • Proven ability to manage high-end, multi-day events in both indoor and outdoor settings.
  • Strong operational and leadership skills, with a creative and collaborative approach.
  • A passion for sustainability, culture, and curating meaningful guest experiences.
