Requirements
A relevant three - year tertiary qualification in Human
Resources or related field
5 to 8 years of relevant experience. Knowledge of Corporate Governance principles and SETA
processes and systems
Proficiency in MS Office Suite Valid Driver's licence
Key Performance Areas
Develop plans and strategies on the development and
implementation of the WSP, Internal and External
Opportunities programs
Manage and perform the functions of Skills Development
as defined by the relevant regulations, polies and Act.
Ensuring compliance of the WSP with BBBBEE Ensure the Learning Management systems complies to the
requirements set by the LGSETA
Manage and ensure the recoupment of the Mandatory and
Discretionary Grants as per the Skills Development Levy Act
Leading, coordinating and facilitating capacity building
workshops with Senior Management, SALGA, LGSETA,
Provencial Government of the Western Cape, tertiary
institutions,
Providing a high-level consulting and communication
strategy across Directorates and Department, to external
parties to the organization on Skills Development policies
and strategies
Provide reports on various professional matters and around
the Workplace Skills Plan, Internal and External
Opportunities and Discretionary Grant.
* Supervise and coordinate the work of junior staff
