SUMMARY:
Are you a detail-oriented and business-savvy Estimator who can prepare accurate and competitive quotes for a wide range of custom signage projects?
Your keen attention to detail and strong numerical skills will ensure precision in cost analysis, while your commercial awareness will help align estimates with client expectations and company goals.
This role will work closely with the sales, design, and production teams to interpret project specifications, source materials, and assess labour requirements. POSITION INFO:
REQUIREMENTS

• Matric, or similar qualification
• Proven experience as an estimator in a manufacturing industry
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Understanding of materials, production methods, and installation processes
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; experience with estimating software is a plus
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• High attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

DUTIES

• Analyse project drawings, specifications, and other documents to prepare accurate cost estimates
• Liaise with suppliers for up-to-date pricing on raw materials, equipment, and outsourced services
• Prepare and submit quotations in a timely and professional manner
• Collaborate with sales and project managers to understand client requirements and ensure alignment on pricing strategies
• Monitor and update cost databases and estimation tools
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
• Assist with tenders and RFQs, ensuring all documentation is completed and submitted correctly
• Track project costs post-approval to ensure profitability and identify discrepancies
