Job Summary Duties:

Interpretation of customers' requirements, terms & conditions and specifications relating to all ship repair and fabrication tenders
Preparation of tender- and related documents
Follow up on quotations submitted and provide feedback on customer comments
Estimate labour, materials, and other resource requirements
Carry out on-board inspections
General administrative estimating duties.

Requirements:

Quantity Surveyor/Mechanical Engineering/Marine Engineering qualification will be an advantage
Estimating experience in a ship repair environment will be a distinct advantage
Knowledge of TNPA facilities, rates, and procedures will be an advantage
Must be proficient with REFMAN
Must be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
Ability to work independently
Advanced Spreadsheet skills.
