An estate practitioner is a professional who helps people buy, sell, rent, or manage property. They are licensed by the Property Practitioners Regulatory Authority (PPRA) and must adhere to a strict code of ethics.
Responsibilities:
Market properties to potential buyers and tenants
Conduct property valuations
Negotiate contracts on behalf of clients
Prepare and submit documentation to the PPRA
Advise clients on legal and financial matters related to property
Manage the rental process for landlords
Maintain records of all transactions
Stay up-to-date on market trends
Key Skills:
Strong communication and negotiation skills,
Excellent customer service skills,
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite,
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
NQF Level 4 National Certificate in Property Practice
3-5 years of experience in the real estate industry
Must have had at least some experience in deceased estates whilst in articles or employment post admission.
