Job Summary Job Vacancy for Essential Oils distillation facility manager in Oribi Gorge. : Essential Oils-Distillation facility & Operations manager Location: Oribi Flats (40km inland from Port Shepstone) Position Type: Permanent Accommodation: Yes included. Salary: Market-related depending on experience Duties and Responsibilities: Distillation Facility/Operations management: Manage all aspects of the steam distillation Facility, from receival of biomass. Manage all staff at the facility during distillation season as well as out of season (+-12 - 15 staff). Do Maintenance and repairs of the facility buildings, electrics, equipment, tools, yard, fence line. Do facility upgrades, extensions, building. Do the logistics for the companies' shipments (Local collections and deliveries). Do equipment, tools, stock, consumables collections. Filtration, blending and batching of products. Drawing of samples, preparing samples for customers. Preparation, labelling and palletisation of shipments. Cleaning and preparation of all equipment, tools, drums. Ensure proper product quality control during all blending and prior to shipping. Administration: General facility administration (document management, data capturing, record keeping). Accurate implement and maintaining of all facility certifications (HSE, FSSC22000,Organic, FFL). All stock management of drums, bottles, pallets, tools, equipment, PPE. Sourcing and ordering of required tools & equipment.
