Duties & Responsibilities

• Leading a project team to deliver client-specific ESS service solutions, including IP-based CCTV, access control, alarms, booms, gates, and electric fencing.
• Conducting preventative and corrective maintenance to ensure optimal system uptime and reliability.
• Supporting minor installations and integrating software platforms to meet customer requirements.
• Managing daily operations including fault finding, reporting, and documentation.
• Coordinating with subcontractors, service providers, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution of tasks.
• Planning and scheduling daily, weekly, and monthly activities for technical teams.
• Overseeing site assessments, stock collection, and environmentally responsible equipment disposal.
• Ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 standards and Thorburn's SHEQ policies.
• Assisting the estimating department during plan reviews and defining project requirements.
• Maintaining accurate administrative records including job cards, overtime sheets, and travel logs.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 and/or equivalent tertiary qualification
• Impro Level 2 certification
• Valid Driver's Licence
• Computer Literacy certification
• PSIRA certification (minimum level E)
• Software & Licensing certification
• Health and Safety certification
• Mine Medical Clearance
