Job Description
Key Outputs
Monitor machine health through EM solutions
Ensure that undercarriage component forecasting management is in place and carried out timeously
Conduct machine inspections on earthmoving equipment as required
Ensure that operational abuse is kept to a minimum and that machines are operated to their full capabilities
Perform Machine Inspections and Undercarriage Management
GET wear analysis Blade/Bucket and compile reports
Machine operator and application evaluation
Site severity analysis
Inspection conversion to quote and quote conversion to order.
Undercarriage Management / Wear trend analysis
Machine downloads and Reports on downloaded events
Manage the undercarriage replacements on the Caterpillar Horizon program
Inspection conversion to quote and quote conversion to order
Qualification, Experience and Competencies
Qualified diesel/earthmoving equipment mechanic (or equivalent qualification)
Three years' Caterpillar experience as a mechanic
Computer literate (MS Office, CAT Software)
Sound business communication skills
Sound technical knowledge of product brands
Must have strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
* Strong problem-solving abilities and abilities to make decisions
