Main purpose of the job
To develop academic material and lecture in allocated subjects for own and other programmes, and to execute appropriate community projects

- Foundation Phase Teaching: Home Language I-III.
- Language of Conversation I-III (Afrikaans)
- Language of Conversation I-III (Setswana)
- Language of Conversation I-III (Sesotho)
- Language of Conversation I-III (isiZulu)
- Language of Conversation I-III (isiXhosa)
Remuneration: The hourly rate of payment depends on the part-time lecturers qualifications and experience.

- The format of lectures can be expected to be face-to-face, via remote teaching, or a combination/hybrid format. Facilitation and assessment formats will be subject to change on short notice.
- Lecturers will be expected to have their own laptop computer.
- Successful applicants will be required to lecture on the relevant CUT campus and will be required to be available at the assigned subjects scheduled class hours, which may include work in the evening.
- An appropriate B Ed Honours, Masters or Doctorate degree.
- Previous lecturing experience will serve as a recommendation.
- Experience with electronic education (Blackboard) is recommended.
