Job Description
Our client is a Global mechanical and plant engineering firm, listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, seeks an experienced E-Plan Designer.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- National Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Light Current), a strong advantage.
- Minimum 1+ years' experience in E-Plan.
- Experience in creating E-Plan drawings essential.
- Strong understanding of electrical processes and knowledge of SANS 10142.
- Electrical panel building skills.
- Driver's License and own transport essential.
- Design controls systems.
- Hardware selection according to Electrical principles.
- Experience in drafting designs in E-Plan.
- Be able to read and interpret E-Plan drawings.
- Develop control concepts for Automation systems based on RFQ's.
- Develop detailed bill of materials from control concepts.
- Document the control concept in E-Plan software.
- Continually improve design philosophy based on international and local electrical standards.
- Apply electrical principals to ensure sound operation of company projects.
- Team player who understands the importance of transparency of tasks, progress and reviewing completed tasks as a team to ensure quality.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good presentational skills.
- Intermediate MS Office proficiency.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Detail driven & goal oriented.
- Disciplined and organised.
